Terms
Terms of Service
Who you're buying from, what you're agreeing to, and the rights none of this can take away.
At a glance
1. Who you're dealing with
Harrison's Beauty is a trading name of HARRISON JAMES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 14883325, registered office 31 Tudor Way, Brackley, England, NN13 6NH. You can reach us at support@harrisonsbeauty.com.
These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy from us. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, Returns Policy and Shipping Policy, all of which form part of the agreement.
If you order through our TikTok Shop, that platform's own terms govern the checkout and payment. These terms govern the goods themselves and our obligations as the seller.
2. Nothing here reduces your legal rights
Read this clause as sitting above every other one. If anything below appears to conflict with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, your rights win and that part of these terms doesn't apply.
Goods we sell you must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. We can't contract out of that and we're not trying to. Citizens Advice can explain the detail if you want an independent account of it.
3. Products and prices
We sell cosmetic skincare products, sourced through authorised distributors, with a UK Responsible Person on record for each one before it is listed. They're cosmetics, not medicines, and nothing on this site should be read as a claim to treat a medical condition.
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are shown separately before you pay.
Occasionally something is priced wrongly. Where the error is obvious and you could reasonably have spotted it, we don't have to sell at the wrong price: we'll contact you before dispatch and you can confirm at the right price or cancel for a full refund. Where the error isn't obvious, we honour the price shown.
Product images and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them. Packaging is periodically restyled by the manufacturer, so what arrives may not look identical to the photograph. If the difference matters to you, that's a reason to cancel and we'll take it back.
4. How an order is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract comes into existence when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when the order is placed or when payment is taken. If we can't fulfil an order, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
- • You need to be 18 or over to buy from us
- • The delivery details you give us need to be correct and complete
- • We may decline an order, for example where stock has run out or where we can't verify the delivery address
5. Cancelling, returning, and faults
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason, and a further 14 to return the goods. Refunds include the standard outbound delivery charge. The one exception is cosmetics whose hygiene seal has been broken after delivery.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods are a separate matter with stronger rights: 30 days to reject outright for a full refund, and a repair or replacement after that. We pay return postage in those cases.
The Returns Policy sets all of this out properly, including how to tell us.
6. Delivery and risk
We deliver within the UK. Unless we've agreed something else with you, we deliver within 30 days of the order.
The goods are our responsibility until they're delivered to you or to someone you've named to receive them. Risk passes at that point. A parcel that goes missing before then is ours to resolve.
7. Using the products safely
Patch test before first use. A small amount on the inner forearm, then 24 hours.
Follow the instructions on the pack, and check the ingredient list if you have known allergies.
Stop if your skin reacts, and speak to a pharmacist or GP if it doesn't settle.
Tell us about any reaction. Serious undesirable effects have to reach the Responsible Person and the regulator, and we can only pass on what we're told.
8. Our liability to you
If we fail to meet our obligations, we're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. Loss is foreseeable if it's obvious it will happen, or if we both knew it might when the contract was made.
We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. We supply to consumers for personal use, and if you buy for a business purpose the consumer protections in these terms don't apply to you.
We don't limit our liability in any way for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory rights in relation to the goods, or for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
9. This website
We try to keep the site available, but we don't guarantee it. We may change or withdraw parts of it, and we'll give notice where a change affects something you've bought.
The site's text, images and code belong to us or our suppliers. Brand names and product photography belong to the respective brands. Personal use is fine; republishing our content commercially isn't.
Please don't use the site to break the law, attack our systems, or scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people. If you do, we may restrict your access. Where that happens we'll tell you why, and it won't affect an order you've already placed.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and a later change doesn't reach backwards. Material changes get flagged on the site and the date at the top of this page moves.
11. Complaints, law and courts
Email support@harrisonsbeauty.com and we'll acknowledge within two working days and aim to resolve it within 14. If we can't, the Citizens Advice consumer service can advise you and refer the matter to Trading Standards.

We're not currently a member of an approved alternative dispute resolution scheme, and we'd rather say so than imply one exists. If we join one, it'll be named here.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the English courts, and if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can bring them in your own courts instead. Nothing here takes that choice away from you.
